Jamaican dancehall star Konshens is set to return to Uganda on Friday, December 11, 2026, for a major music event dubbed Vibe Republic, scheduled to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
The event, themed “Together We Vibe,” will celebrate music, culture and East African hospitality. It is presented by Explore Uganda, Talent Africa Group and Swangz Avenue, with additional Ugandan performers expected to be announced ahead of the show.
Organisers have set the Citizen Pass at Shs20,000 and the Diplomat Pass at Shs80,000. Tickets are available through tagticketing.com.
Konshens has a history of performing in Uganda, having visited the country in 2012 and 2013, returned in 2015 alongside Busy Signal, and performed at Blankets & Wine in 2023 at the same venue.
The dancehall star has previously spoken about his connection with East African fans, making his upcoming appearance another opportunity to reconnect with his Ugandan audience.

Separately, Konshens has reportedly won a copyright case against Airtel Uganda and other parties over the unauthorised use of his songs as caller tunes. The reported award stands at US$180,000, in addition to costs.
