Job Summary:
The Procurement Logistician is responsible for overseeing procurement and logistics activities at the regional level to ensure efficient and cost-effective resources are available to support MTI’s health programming activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate regional supply chain activities, including planning, sourcing, transport, shipping, warehousing, asset, and fleet management.
- Manage the procurement process in accordance with MTI and donor policies, ensuring transparency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the regional Operations budget and ensure effective use of the Unit 4 ERP system for inventory and order management.
- Lead the regional Operations team, including supervision, task definition, and performance evaluation.
- Review fleet and inventory reports, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Train staff in the use of ERP systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Manage vendor contracts and support timely vendor payments.
- Assist in annual procurement planning and track budget vs. actual expenditures.
- Conduct local market surveys and ensure compliance with applicable licenses for procurement and disposal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification in NAVY or CIPS.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Experience with donor-specific asset and procurement procedures is an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of global supply chain management and ERP systems.
- Skilled in managing budgets, leading teams, and using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and integrity.

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Job Summary:
The Triage Nurse is responsible for providing quality care by triaging patients, taking immediate action in emergencies, providing first aid, and directing patients to the appropriate departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and inform patients, ensuring a comfortable waiting area and good flow to avoid overcrowding.
- Identify and escalate serious medical cases to the nurse supervisor or Clinical Officer.
- Collaborate with Data Clerks for patient registration and maintain confidentiality.
- Monitor vital signs, administer injections, dress wounds, and check vaccination status.
- Maintain a clean triage unit and support health education and family planning services.
- Adhere to MTI’s Code of Conduct and ethical practices in patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Comprehensive Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing and Midwifery.
- Registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council and a valid practicing license.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in triage or nursing activities.
- Experience with international NGOs is an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of triage practices, first aid, hygiene management, and IPC protocol.
- Skilled in administering first aid, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage stress in a busy environment.
