Panic at Buwanda Primary School in Nawampiti, Luuka District, after 25 pupils were reportedly poisoned after eating white ants brought to school by one of their classmates. The incident happened on Thursday, with the affected pupils rushed to Kiyunga Health Centre IV, where they are receiving treatment and being closely monitored. Police in Mukono District have arrested four people after human remains were allegedly discovered inside a house in Wantayi Village, Namataba Town Council during a police operation to recover a missing motorcycle, according to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Racheal Kawala. Police in Lyantonde District have arrested a 13-year-old TikToker over allegations of using social media to promote violence, sectarianism and attacking top government officials.
