Democratic Party Vice President Hon. Dr. Fred Mukasa Mbidde and his wife Phiona Nayebale have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Shatsi Nyonyozi Mbidde, 3 years after their wedding.
Mbidde shared the joyful news on social media, describing the newborn as a blessing and expressing gratitude to his wife for the journey they went through together.
“Welcome to the family, baby girl, Shatsi Nyonyozi Mbidde, the very definition of benediction, benisons and beatitudes,” Mbidde wrote.
He also thanked his wife Phiona, saying:
“Thank you, my Phiona, for the beautiful fight. Love you till death.”
Fred Mukasa Mbidde, a former East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) member, married Phiona Nayebale in 2023 in a ceremony held at the Uganda Martyrs Basilica in Munyonyo, Kampala.
The arrival of baby Shatsi marks a new chapter for the couple, with congratulatory messages pouring in from friends, supporters, and Ugandans celebrating the family’s happy moment.
