Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone has strongly dismissed viral allegations claiming that a DNA test revealed one of his children is not biologically his, describing the reports as false, malicious, and defamatory, says he can never take his kids for tests.
The allegations were shared in a Facebook post attributed to Bukedde TV entertainment journalist Josephat Seguya and quickly spread across social media, sparking widespread discussion.
Reacting to the claims, Chameleone, whose real name is Joseph Mayanja, expressed outrage and warned that he is ready to pursue legal action against the journalist.
“I AM VERY DEVASTATED BY THIS FALSE ALLEGATION, MR. SEGUYA! You might pay a very big price while looking for attention. You are slowly opening a can of worms. This is NOT TRUE! You have taken your lies really far, and I guess we are going to deal with this in court. STOP YOUR MALICIOUS ALLEGATIONS RIGHT NOW!” Chameleone wrote.

The singer insisted the allegations are completely false and accused Seguya of spreading misinformation in an attempt to attract public attention.
As of publication, Josephat Seguya had not publicly responded to Chameleone’s statement, and no evidence has been presented to support the DNA claims.
The dispute now appears headed for court, with Chameleone indicating he is prepared to take legal action to protect his reputation.
