Family, friends and mourners gathered at St. Kizito Catholic Church in Namungoona, Kampala, on Wednesday morning for the requiem Mass of Ugandan TikTok creator Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden.
The Mass, which took place at 10:00 a.m., brought together loved ones and members of the entertainment industry as they continued to bid farewell to the 24-year-old content creator.
During the service, media personality Isaac Katende, popularly known as Kasuku, publicly honored musician Bebe Cool for his role in helping repatriate Jayden’s body from India and supporting the family during the difficult period. Kasuku also led the congregation in song during the Mass.
Bebe Cool also addressed mourners and praised President Yoweri Museveni for financial support towards Jayden’s medical care in India. While speaking at the service, Bebe Cool said the President had “never let me down” whenever assistance was needed.
Jayden died on September 15, 2026, in India, where he had travelled for a bone marrow transplant after years of battling sickle cell disease and later developing aplastic anaemia.
His condition reportedly worsened following the procedure in July, after which he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
Jayden’s body arrived at Entebbe International Airport at around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, where it was received by family members, friends and mourners before being taken to Namungoona.
The requiem Mass marks another emotional moment in the farewell programme for Jayden, whose death has left family, friends and followers mourning the young content creator.
