Ugandan TikTok creator Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, is out of danger after successfully undergoing a life-saving bone marrow transplant surgery in India.

The 24-year-old content creator underwent the procedure after battling severe aplastic anemia and sickle cell disease, conditions that required an urgent transplant to improve his chances of survival.

Jayden’s health journey gained public attention after he appealed for financial assistance to raise funds for the expensive procedure, which was estimated to cost between $40,000 and $150,000.

Following the appeal, Ugandans rallied behind him through fundraising campaigns, including GoFundMe and mobile money contributions, helping raise the required funds for his treatment.

The good news was shared by supporter Gideon Nova Kwikiriza, who confirmed that Jayden had successfully completed the surgery and was recovering.

“This is to inform you all that our very own, our boy Jayden had a successful bone marrow surgery and is both out of theatre and danger,” Kwikiriza shared on X.

The update brought relief to Jayden’s family, friends, and thousands of followers who had closely followed his medical journey. The situation had earlier been surrounded by false reports claiming that the young creator had passed away, rumours that were later dismissed.

Supporters have continued sending messages of gratitude and prayers as Jayden begins his recovery process following the successful transplant.
