Madhvani University Scholarships in Uganda for 2024-2025 Academic Year

The Muljibbhai Madhvani Foundation, Uganda’s largest private sector Education Trust, is offering scholarships worth Seven Hundred Fifty Million Uganda Shillings (Ushs 750,000,000/=) for the 2024-2025 academic year. These scholarships are intended for gifted but financially challenged Ugandan students pursuing studies at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in various disciplines.

Eligible Disciplines:

  • Agriculture
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Commerce
  • Engineering
  • Food Science & Technology
  • Information Technology
  • Hotel Management
  • Pharmacy
  • Nursing
  • Architecture
  • Veterinary Medicine
  • Actuarial Science
  • Environmental Studies
  • Human Medicine

Undergraduate Applicants:

  • Must be Ugandan citizens.
  • Should have completed their first year of University study.
  • Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.0 in the first year, with no exam retakes.

Postgraduate Applicants:

  • Must be Ugandan citizens.
  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Should be admitted to or registered for a postgraduate program.

How to Apply:

  1. Download and print the application form for free from the website: www.madhvanifoundation.com.
  2. Complete the application form.
  3. Submit the completed application form to either of the following addresses:
    • Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation, C/o East African Distributors Limited, Plot 96-98 Business Park, 5ª Street Industrial Area, Kampala, Uganda.
    • Post to: The Secretary, Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation, P.O.Box 6361, Kampala, Uganda.

Note:

  • No payment should be made by the applicant at any stage of the application process.
  • The application must reach the secretary by April 30, 2024.
  • Applications received after the deadline will be rejected.
