Former Miss Uganda contestant Doreen Kabareebe has officially embarked on a new career after enlisting in the United States Army.
The Ugandan fashion model, socialite and influencer recently shared moments from a U.S. military oath ceremony, where she was seen taking part alongside a diverse group of recruits.
Kabareebe, who was born in 1990 in Rwampara District, rose to prominence through modelling and beauty pageants before expanding her career into social media and entertainment.
She is married to an American and has now transitioned from the fashion and influencer industry to military service, marking a significant change in her professional journey.

Kabareebe shared highlights from the oath ceremony online, officially marking the beginning of her journey as a U.S. Army soldier.
Her enlistment has since attracted excitement from her followers, with many congratulating the former beauty queen on taking on a new path far removed from her previous career in modelling and entertainment.
The development adds another chapter to Kabareebe’s public journey, which has seen her move from Uganda’s beauty and fashion scene into a new life and career in the United States.
