Summary:
True North Consult Ltd is seeking a Financial Planning & Analytics Manager to lead the bank’s financial planning and analytics efforts. This role involves budgeting, performance analytics, revenue assurance, and market analysis to support effective decision-making by the Executive Management.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated financial performance reports for the entire bank by segment.
- Analyze and report costs, incorporating direct and indirect costs.
- Develop financial performance forecasts and support strategy implementation.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, interpret financial data, and provide performance reviews.
- Engage with business heads to identify performance issues and recommend improvements.
- Conduct competitor analysis and support ALCO discussions.
- Prepare branch profitability reports and support product development initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
- Education: University degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Accounting, or Quantitative Economics; Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, including 2 years at a managerial level in a financial institution.
- Skills: Advanced Excel and SQL, database applications, knowledge of accounting principles, strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Title: Market Risk Officer
Summary:
True North Consult Ltd is hiring a Market Risk Officer to assist the Chief Risk Officer in managing market risk control functions. This role focuses on policy implementation, risk management framework, and compliance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of market risk policies and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports for RMC and ALCO.
- Monitor exchange rates, interest rates, and compliance with set limits.
- Conduct stress tests and analyze liquidity and foreign currency exchange risks.
- Review and analyze treasury and balance sheet data.
Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in a financial institution regulated by the Bank of Uganda.
- Skills: Good communication, teamwork, networking, and attention to detail.
