HiPipo Opens Nominations For 2026 Digital Impact Awards Africa

The public, organisations and industry stakeholders can now nominate outstanding digital innovators and leaders across Africa.

HiPipo has officially opened nominations for the 13th Annual Digital Impact Awards Africa (DIAA2026), inviting individuals and organisations to recognise outstanding digital innovation and impact across the continent.

Nominations opened on August 10, 2026, and will close on September 18, 2026, at 11:59 PM EAT. People from anywhere in the world can submit nominations as long as the nominee or initiative has a relevant impact in Africa.

30 Award Categories

This year’s awards feature 30 competitive categories covering areas such as digital financial services, technology, agriculture, healthcare, education, artificial intelligence, transport, energy, government services and leadership.

The awards will also recognise digital innovations supporting farmers, improving healthcare, expanding financial inclusion and helping businesses and communities access essential services.

Digital Impact Awards Africa 2026 Launch Event

The top competitive award is Digital Brand of the Year, which recognises a brand or organisation demonstrating strong performance in digital innovation, customer experience, accessibility, engagement and measurable impact.

There is no fee to submit a nomination, and self-nominations are also allowed.

After nominations close, eligible submissions will be reviewed and verified before the official #DIAA2026 nominees are announced.

The Digital Impact Awards Africa are organised by HiPipo under its Include Everyone philosophy, which promotes digital and financial inclusion across Africa.
