Ugandan rapper Mclevi is keeping the momentum high with the release of the official music video for “Some Are,” one of the standout tracks from his debut project, MCLEANER MIXTAPE.

The new visual comes just days after the release of the mixtape, which highlights Mclevi’s versatility and creativity through a collection of songs blending different rap styles and storytelling.

The project features tracks including “Go,” “Some Are,” “Not Friends,” “Lugs,” “Pay Me,” “Intimate,” “Reactions,” “Live” featuring Fakher, “Pour Four Freestyle,” “Came from the Mud,” “Showing Love,” “Teed Up,” and “Where You Been (Blessing).”

The mixtape also includes collaborations with Peter Lugs and Fakher, further expanding Mclevi’s sound and reach within Uganda’s hip-hop scene.

The “Some Are” video was directed by BlendIN and Mclevi at FTM Studio, while the audio was produced, mixed, and mastered by THEINKREDIBO at FTM Records. Mclevi also takes credit as the writer behind the song.

According to the rapper, every song on the MCLEANER MIXTAPE carries its own story, with each music video created around a unique concept to give fans a different experience throughout the project.

Having spent only one year in the music industry, Mclevi says he is focused on building a lasting legacy in Uganda’s hip-hop scene while creating music capable of competing on an international level.

Beyond his music career, the rapper is also developing FTM into a wider creative brand covering music production, events, merchandise, and other entertainment ventures.

Fans can expect more visuals from the mixtape, with an official listening party expected to be announced soon.
