Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs Minister Hajjat Minsa Kabanda is celebrating the successful introduction ceremony of her beloved daughter, Amira.
The colourful traditional ceremony, which reportedly took place over the weekend, brought together ministers, Members of Parliament, relatives, friends and other distinguished guests.
Minsa Kabanda took to her X account to thank everyone who attended and supported her family during the special occasion.
She gave special appreciation to Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, who attended the ceremony and delivered what the minister described as kind and inspiring words to the Bagole.
“I am deeply grateful to Almighty Allah for the successful introduction ceremony of my beloved daughter, Amira,” Minsa Kabanda said.
The minister also thanked Uganda’s ministers, MPs, relatives, friends and well-wishers for sparing their time to celebrate with the family.
Other prominent officials who joined in celebrating the occasion included Hon. Chris Baryomunsi, Hon. Sharifah Buzeki and Hon. Milly Babirye Babalanda.
Scenes from the colourful ceremony showed the couple surrounded by family and guests, with traditional attire, speeches, floral decorations, gift-giving and plenty of celebration.
