Musician Faisal Sseguya aka Rabadaba has penned an emotional tribute to former lover, the late Nalongo Maggie Kaweesi, pouring out his heart and emotions following her sudden passing.

In a heartfelt message posted on social media, the Mukyamu singer revealed that he was deeply saddened when he received news of Maggie’s death, admitting that he initially struggled to believe it.

Rabadaba said he had spoken with Maggie just a few weeks before her passing and that she sounded healthy, happy, and full of life, making the news even more painful to accept.

Reflecting on their relationship, Rabadaba acknowledged that, like many couples, they experienced challenges that eventually led them to part ways.

However, he said they also shared many special memories together and continued to respect each other despite no longer being together.

“Just like any other couple, we had a few differences here and there, but above all, we most definitely had some good times, my dear friend. You have gone too soon, Salha,” Rabadaba wrote.

The singer also shared that their last conversation left him with the impression that Maggie was doing well.

Rabadaba extended his condolences to Maggie’s children, family, friends, and loved ones, praying for comfort during the difficult period.

“Ohh Salha!! 💔💔💔 When i Heard that you have left this world and gone to the next i was Gutted! I did not want to believe it. But i have to accept it. Allah Yagela! So so sad. I know you cant read this but may you have a peaceful rest Salha. Just like any other we had a few differences here and there but above all we most definitely had some good times my dear friend. You have gone too soon Salha. 💔💔💔
We had a small chat a couple of weeks ago and you sounded just fine Salha. Farewell my friend.
Wumula mirembe munange. Inna lilahi wa inna lillahi rajwn. 🙏”

He ended his tribute with a farewell message, asking God to grant her eternal rest.

Nalongo Maggie Kaweesi, widow of late musician AK47 (Emmanuel Mayanja), passed away on July 20, 2026, leaving Uganda’s entertainment industry mourning.
