Popular events promoter and deejay Ssuuna Ben has finally spoken out about the rumours claiming he and his longtime friend and business partner, Mbaziira Tony, had fallen out.
For months, social media gossip has suggested that the two were no longer seeing eye to eye, with some even claiming their friendship and working relationship had completely collapsed.
However, while appearing in a television interview, Ssuuna Ben laughed off the reports and insisted there is absolutely no truth in the claims.
The city deejay revealed that he has repeatedly heard people spreading stories about him and Mbaziira Tony separating, but urged fans not to believe a word of it.
“Out of all the bad things they speak about us, believe them, but when they say we have separated, I kindly request you to reject it right away because it will never happen. There is no ounce of truth in it,” Ssuuna Ben said.
The rumours gained momentum during the recent drama involving Ssuuna Ben and his baby mama, Mary Nambwayo, which dominated social media discussions.
At the height of the controversy, some critics speculated that Mbaziira Tony had grown tired of the public family disputes and decided to distance himself from his longtime associate.
But according to Ssuuna Ben, their friendship remains as strong as ever.
“Mbaziira can never get tired of me. We are still on very good terms and have no problem at all. Every time you see us in different places, everyone knows where the other is. Sometimes we get bookings in different places and decide to split so that each one of us handles a different gig,” he explained.
