Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan and her husband Shakib Cham Lutaaya have reignited reconciliation rumours after being seen enjoying each other just weeks after publicly announcing the end of their marriage.
On June 12, 2026, Zari surprised fans by revealing that she and Shakib had ended their five-year relationship, citing “irreconcilable differences” and asking the public to respect their privacy.
Shortly after the announcement, Shakib disclosed that he had learned about the breakup through social media, just like everyone else, a revelation that sparked widespread debate online.
