Ugandan singer A Pass, real name Alexander Bagonza, has announced plans to stage a major live concert at Kololo Airstrip in 2027, setting the stage for what could become his biggest show yet, as some people doubt the potential.
A Pass revealed plans for “A Pass Live: Kololo Airstrip 2027” on his X account on Sunday, August 23, 2026, before later discussing the concert during a TikTok Live session.
The announcement comes after the singer successfully staged his first solo concert, A Pass Live in Concert, at Kampala Serena Hotel on January 31, 2025.
A Pass explained that he is targeting the larger outdoor venue because it offers more space and better parking facilities for his fans.
He also pushed back against suggestions that Kololo Airstrip could be too large for his concert, saying some fans have already expressed interest in purchasing multiple tables.
The singer further indicated that he does not intend to return to Serena Hotel after achieving what he wanted at the venue, instead setting his sights on a much bigger stage similar to those used by artists such as Ray G and King Saha.
A Pass has continued to establish himself as one of Uganda’s prominent entertainers, with Afrodancehall hits such as “Wuuyo” contributing to his popularity.
The singer released his Bagonza album in 2024 before taking his music to the Serena Hotel stage for his first major solo concert in January 2025.
Now, he is looking to take the next step with an outdoor concert at one of Uganda’s most popular venues for major music events.
The announcement has already generated excitement among his fans, with some joking that the early notice gives them more than enough time to prepare for the show.
With a large following on X and a strong fan base across Uganda, A Pass is now giving his supporters plenty of time to mark their calendars.
