NRG Radio Uganda presenter Evelyn Mic has hit back at fellow media personality Sheilah Gashumba daring her to drag her to court if she believes she can really win the case.
Evelyn has made it clear that she is not intimidated, saying her legal team is ready and that she has no intention of apologising over the ongoing dispute.
The latest clash follows Evelyn’s August 11 post in which she challenged claims that Sheilah had threatened to have her removed from NRG Radio Uganda, where she co-hosts a show. At the time, Evelyn was away attending her sister’s burial.
The disagreement reportedly started after Evelyn commented on claims surrounding Sheilah’s alleged relationship with businessman Alex Bidandi. Sheilah denied the allegations and defended her private life, before reportedly questioning Evelyn’s position at the radio station.

The exchange escalated further after Sheilah allegedly questioned Evelyn’s business experience, saying she had “never even managed a small kiosk.”
Evelyn’s latest response has now added more fuel to the dispute, with the two personalities exchanging words over their careers, achievements, personal struggles and influence in Uganda’s media and entertainment circles.
For now, neither side appears ready to back down, leaving the public watching closely to see how the dispute develops.
Evelyn has previously found herself involved in public controversies. In 2024, she accused musician Alien Skin of assaulting her at a Galaxy FM event and reportedly involved police and lawyers in the matter.
