Ugandan singer Gloria Bugie has recovered her stolen iPhone 17 Pro Max after Kabalagala Police in Kampala successfully traced and recovered the device.
Bugie reported the phone stolen on September 5, 2026, and subsequently warned the public against responding to anyone pretending to be her using the missing device.
On September 8, the singer collected her phone from Kabalagala Police, where she expressed gratitude to the Uganda Police Force and DPC Afande Okongo for helping recover it.
Videos from the police station captured a lighter moment as Bugie danced with officers while celebrating the recovery of her phone.
Some social media posts following the recovery have also mentioned a laptop being recovered, although the main confirmed item highlighted by Bugie was her stolen iPhone.
The recovery brings a happy ending to what began as a stressful incident for the singer, who had urged her followers to remain cautious after the theft.
