Renowned fashion entrepreneur and cultural curator Ahumuza “Abryanz” Brian has officially launched Kampala Never Sleeps, an ambitious new experiential platform designed to celebrate, document, and elevate Kampala’s fast-growing creative ecosystem.
The initiative will officially debut on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Black Panther Kampala, with the popular Kampala Style Brunch serving as its inaugural edition.
Unlike a traditional events brand, Kampala Never Sleeps is envisioned as a long-term platform that combines storytelling with immersive experiences.
Its mission is to build a living archive of Kampala’s contemporary culture by spotlighting the designers, musicians, visual artists, entrepreneurs, hospitality brands, and creatives shaping the city’s identity on the regional and global stage.
Through curated events, retail pop-ups, digital content, and original editorial features, each edition will focus on a different aspect of Kampala’s vibrant lifestyle and creative economy.
The launch will coincide with the Kampala Style Brunch, one of the city’s leading daytime lifestyle events that has, over the past four years, become a favourite gathering for fashion lovers, creatives, business leaders, media personalities, and lifestyle enthusiasts.
Speaking about the new initiative, the organizers described it as more than just another event.
“Kampala Never Sleeps is our long-term platform for telling the story of Kampala through culture, creativity, and experiences. Launching it with Kampala Style Brunch is a natural choice because the brunch has already established itself as a respected gathering that celebrates the city’s creative spirit. This is not a new event—it is the beginning of a bigger movement.”
Guests attending the launch can look forward to a premium daytime experience featuring fashion showcases, live music, art exhibitions, networking opportunities, immersive brand activations, and curated hospitality experiences.
Organizers expect the event to attract an influential guest list comprising entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, media executives, fashion personalities, diplomats, and international tastemakers.
