Singer turned politician Nina Roz has addressed growing speculation that she is romantically enjoying comedian Reign Omusoyisoyi, saying he is such a good handsome man.
Speaking after Lydia Jazmine’s press conference, Nina Roz dismissed reports that the two are currently dating, explaining that there is nothing between them to suggest they are in a romantic relationship.
However, the singer appeared to play along with the rumours when she jokingly said:
“You have already alleged? Let’s go with that, after all he isn’t a bad man.”
Nina Roz explained that she and Reign are simply good friends and have also been brought closer by their shared political interests, as both are supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP).
While making it clear that she and Reign are not currently a couple, Nina Roz did not completely rule out the possibility of the friendship eventually turning into something more.
The singer said her future relationship could depend on God’s plan, adding that she is currently looking for a man who fears God, respects her and supports the kind of change she believes in.
“Inshallah, because we might have other plans but Allah also has His other plans. Right now I need a God-fearing man who respects me and supports change.”
Her comments have since fueled further curiosity among fans, with many now wondering whether the singer and comedian could eventually become more than just friends.
