Ugandan Lugaflow rapper St. Nelly-Sade, born Nelson Nsubuga, is celebrating a healthy recovery several months after undergoing successful hernia surgery earlier this year.

The rapper underwent an inguinal hernia operation in March 2026 at International Hospital Kampala (IHK) after enduring years of pain and swelling, a condition he previously revealed had worsened during the COVID-19 lockdown due to frequent bicycle riding.

Following the successful procedure, doctors advised St. Nelly-Sade to abstain from sexual activity for six months to allow for proper healing. At the time, he shared photos from his hospital bed and expressed gratitude to the medical team, especially Dr. Ashraf Muhammad, for the successful operation.

Now, about three months later, the celebrated rapper appears to have made a full recovery. He has returned to his normal routine and has been actively engaging fans through social media, where he has shared positive updates about his health.
