Renowned Ugandan pastor Irene Manjeri has broken her silence following her viral video of collapsing during a church service last week, dismissing rumours that she was suffering from a serious illness and telling what exactly was wrong.
The incident, which quickly went viral on social media, left many of her followers worried after a video showed the preacher suddenly stopping in the middle of her sermon at Bethel Healing Ministries.
In the footage, Pastor Manjeri told the congregation that she needed to rest and go home to sleep before she suddenly lost her balance and collapsed. Church ushers quickly rushed to her aid and carried her off the stage.
Addressing the speculation, Pastor Manjeri assured her congregation and supporters that she is not sick.

She explained that the incident was simply the result of exhaustion, saying she was “just tired” at the time and not battling any health condition.
The pastor thanked everyone who reached out with prayers, messages, and concern, reassuring them that she is doing well and recovering after getting the rest she needed.
Her clarification has eased fears among many followers who had been anxious after the dramatic incident spread widely online.
