Ugandan TikToker and socialite Don Chris, real name Christian Asiimwe, has reportedly been arrested and is being held at Munyonyo Police Station amid a long-running investigation into alleged fraud.
According to reports, Don Chris was arrested at around 1:00AM, barely two days after returning to Uganda. He is the proprietor of Skypins Tours and Travel.
Police investigations dating back to 2025 reportedly linked the social media personality to allegations that he defrauded dozens of people after promising to secure them overseas jobs and travel opportunities.
Previous allegations indicated that between 85 and more than 350 people may have lost between Shs500 million and Shs1.75 billion, with individuals reportedly paying between Shs3.5 million and Shs10 million for promised opportunities in countries including Canada, the UK, Qatar, Dubai and Luxembourg.
Several complainants allegedly failed to travel and were reportedly not refunded their money.
Don Chris is also alleged to have left Uganda as investigations intensified and later addressed some complainants during TikTok Live sessions while reportedly claiming to be abroad.

His reported return has now been followed by his arrest, with authorities expected to provide further details as investigations continue.
