Singer King Saha, real name Mansoor Ssemanda, delivered a major concert as thousands of fans filled Kololo Airstrip Independence Grounds for his sold-out Tondeka Ekololo Festival, placing him in a legendary status.

Fans started arriving as early as midday, with long queues forming around the venue as revelers turned up to support the singer.

The concert featured performances from a long list of Ugandan artistes, including Winnie wa Mummy, Vian Music, Laty Wizy, Young Mulo, Kid Dee, Spice Diana, Kabaaya, Mudra, Aziz Azion, Feffe Bussi, Daxx Vibes, Fik Fameica and comedians Maulana and Reign, among others.

King Saha took to the stage at around 9:30 PM, opening his performance with songs by late South African reggae legend Lucky Dube before going through some of his own biggest hits.

The singer went on to deliver a live performance that showcased his vocals and soulful musical style, keeping the huge crowd entertained throughout the night.

However, the massive turnout also came with challenges, as some fans reportedly fainted after struggling to breathe amid the congestion at the venue.

Several revelers complained that the space was too small to accommodate the huge crowd and urged King Saha to consider a bigger venue, including Namboole Stadium, for his next concert.

The turnout also appeared to surpass the crowd witnessed at Ray G’s concert at the same venue a week earlier.

With fans filling the Kololo grounds and even occupying the stands, Tondeka Ekololo has further strengthened King Saha’s position as one of Uganda’s leading music stars.
