Ugandan socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa, popularly known as Bad Black, has made fresh allegations about a painful experience from her past, claiming that a man she identified as a Makerere University lecturer forced her out of his home during a heavy downpour after she refused to have unprotected sex with him.
Speaking during an interview with Flavia Namulidwa on the Diaspora YouTube Channel, Bad Black said the incident happened years ago when she was involved in sex work.
According to her account, the lecturer allegedly became angry after she insisted on protected sex and ordered her to leave his house despite the heavy rain outside.
She further claimed that after chasing her away, the man allegedly tricked a boda boda rider into transporting her home without paying the fare.
“A lecturer from Makerere University kicked me out of his house in the middle of heavy rain when I refused to sleep with him. He had no protection and ended up conning a boda boda rider,” Bad Black alleged during the interview.
The outspoken socialite said she decided to share the story as part of opening up about the difficult experiences she endured before her rise to fame.
Her revelations have since sparked debate on social media, with opinions sharply divided. While some users questioned the credibility of the allegations, citing Bad Black’s history of making controversial public statements, others argued that the claims should not be dismissed outright and called for the matter to be taken seriously.
The discussion has also reignited conversations about consent, power dynamics, and the importance of respecting personal boundaries regardless of an individual’s background or profession.
